Anti Trade Union Laws and the contempt of a Labour Government for wage
bargaining and negotiations.
The United Socialist Party would like state its disgust at the devaluing of the
working class through some of your unions within the TUC not standing up to the
government by letting them offer 1% wage increase to the lowest paid workers in
the UK.
The union’s position is ‘this is the best the government will offer’ and then asking
their members if they wish to take industrial action.
Do you have mice or men leading your unions within the TUC?
Is it not time you put your colours to the mast and declared that if this government
or the incoming government in 2010 to take the Anti Trade Union Laws off the
statute book. Then the TUC would relinquish its ties with New Labour or the
government of the day and call for National Wild Cat strikes to make them listen to
the demands of your fellow members whom you represent and get paid from.
We will publish this letter on our web site, also any reply you wish to make.
